Sketches In Thyme Design Team Call !!!!

Hello my Scrappy Friends!! I'm trying out to be a Sketchy Maven on the Sketches In Thyme Design Team!!  This would be the first time I have ever attempted to be on any Design Team. I decided that now was the time because I will be having more free time come May. So here is my page, I hope you like it.

Some of my favorite things to do lately is to distress the paper with my Tim Holtz distresser and distress with ink. I saw on Pinterest the idea for a rolled paper banner. It's just something different and I really like the look!

The deadline is April 20, so you still have time to enter with me!
Here's the sketch-

I will also be entering this into the challenge over @  Get Inspired With Chatter Scene Just Elements challenge. I made my paper flowers and hand cut my banner, added the chipboard elements and the paper word quotes.
My Recipe-
My Mind's Eye- Totally Girl, Complete Boy
Colorbok- small chipboard
DNC floss
Ink- Martha Stewart, Studio G

So Glad you stopped by :)
Wish me LUCK!! :)

A Card for Skipping Stones

Hello my Scrappy Friends:) Here's another card for a sketch challenge at Skipping Stones Design Blog. They teamed up with Scor-Pal Blog to give us an interesting challenge! If you have followed me you know I don't make many cards so I don't use my Scor-pal very often. Well after what I saw the design teams do I think I will not only use it on my cards but my scrap book pages as well! I will also be entering this into Hiding in My Craft Room #38 KISS "Keeping it Simple Sweetie" challenge. Well I did just that, my card couldn't be any simpler.
Here's my card-
I scored all around the outer perimeter and four sections.
Here you can see it better.
The inside.

Sketches In thyme Thursday take # 69

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I'm here today to share with you a page I did for Sketches In Thyme Thursday take # 69. I went through my stash of old photo's and picked this one out for this challenge! Its a photo of myself, daughter, my mom, sister and Aunt. The page is in remembrance of my Uncle who passed away and after the memorial service just us girls hung out.

I made these flower using some scrap fabric a tea light candle and a pearl! I really loved how they turned out! I decided to add pearl stems too! I added the little shaker purse because it fit my color scheme and that it was a bunch of us girls and you know how we like our purses!

Here's the sketch-

Hope you'll join in on the challenge is goes until the end of the month!
