Ready 2 Rock

I just had to post this 2 page spread my sister Lisa did! Isn't it cute!! This is her grandson Wyatt! He just loves to sing the song from Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He loves to sing the song "hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!" That is what he is singing in the microphone!

I told her I wanted to share it! She doesn't have a blog, but I hope one day she will!!
She used her Cricut- Disney Hannah Montana Cart.
I would love it if you would leave her some love!!
Thanks Kim :)

Well today is my last day as a guest designer for Frosted Designs. This is my take on the sketch!

The Sketch:

I was going through my craft supplies and came across some fabric I had purchased so many years ago. I hadn't done anything with it so I was inspired to do a quilt square. I had never seen this before, I wanted something unique! That is my favorite part of the page.

UCF KNIGHTS

Here's the page I did for Card Creations & More by C.
The challenge was to do anything but a card! I loved that challenge because I have been doing so many sketch challenges that I needed to think outside the box and do my own thing. I decided to do my page in yellow and black, the school colors! I did a simple page, but I still love the contrast between the yellow and black!

Here's my simple Recipe:
card stock
creative memories stickers
Cricut Cart - Street Sign
Paper Doll Dress Up
Tags Bags Boxes & More
ribbon
chalk
That's it! Hope you like my page!
Let me know what you think:)

Little Angel

This page I did for Sketch Inspiration Challenge.
The picture I took of my page doesn't show up well with the title and some of the embellies.
No matter what I did they had a glare. My Title is "Little Angel", the other embellie says "it's sleepy time."  The little circle embellies say "too Cute, Boy, Baby."
The paper I used was from the Paper Studio "Sweet Pea". I distressed my paper with tearing. I love the added texture it gives.
Thanks for visiting! Don't forget to leave me a comment:)

Expecting

I started this layout for a challenge at Stuck on you Sketches! Well unfortunately I missed the deadline. I still wanted to finish my page. This is a picture of my oldest daughter and my son in-law! Courtney is so Beautiful Pregnant!
I knew I wanted to create a flower around my title and journal circle. So I used my Creative Memories Circle cutter and the Oval cutter and made a template. Then I turned over my mouse pad and stuck holes in my template using a push pin. Then I placed it over my title/journaling, and rotated it and punched holes!
Recipe:
card stock
BO Bunny Paper
Hand stitching
Creative Memories circle cutter
flower brad
Bella Blvd.
Silk flowers
DNC Floss
Hope you like my page!
Let me know what you think I love to get comments:)

XOXO

Hello My Scrappy Friends! I thought I would do another one of Sketchy Thursdays Guest Design Team Member challenge!
My page I followed the design for the most part, I have three kids and so I had to add one extra small photo. I don't have much red or pink print paper so I just picked out the paper I had on hand that fit the best. The Challenge also had a twist, you had to add a heart, use red or pink and journal somewhere on the page.
Recipe:
Card Monkey - brads
Jolee's
Cricut Cart - Street Sign
My Minds Eye - Tiny Tales
Lace
Stitching
Making Memories card stock
Hope you like my page. It's not to late to play along page is due on January 22!

Pop & His Little Pumpkin

This is the layout I did for Sketches in Thyme Thursday Takes # 32. I couldn't resist using these pictures of my little grandson and son in-law! Isaiah was just starting to sit up on his own!

I just loved this sketch! When I started working on this sketch I pulled out all the possibilities. I had this little scarecrow that I thought would be perfect but it was a solid color and just blended to much with the rest of my page. The only thing to do was to take tracing paper and make clothes for my scarecrow.  I added a little raffia coming out of his clothes, I thought it looked like straw! Wow what a difference! That was just what my page needed!

Recipe
K & C Company-pumpkins and acorn
buttons
string
Cricut Cart - Home Decor
DCWV - solids
print - ?
Scarecrow - from my stash
raffia
glitter glue
punch for the little leaves

Look What I won!

Aren't these the Prettiest flowers!  I won these from Scary Cute!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Here's the Sketch over at Scrapville December/January 2011 Layout Sketch.
Recipe:
Heart Strings "Jingle The Reindeer"
Paper and Rub ons- DCWV
DNC floss
Chipboard
wooden buttons
sand paper
I really Love how this page turned out! I think it is really cute!
My son is 6'5" and he just over powers the tree! We don't have room for a larger tree but I think it's still pretty! This is a picture of my son and daughter ready to hang on the ornaments they just got! You know taking pictures of this helps me to remember what year they got what ornament. I have written the date on a few, but I do not always remember too.

My most favorite thing about this page is the reindeer and the ornaments that he got tangled up in! I also love how sanding the edges of my LO gave it that  little something that it needed!
Hope you like my page!
Leave me a comment , it always makes my day:)

Cassie

This LO wasn't made for any challenge. I just wanted to get a page done.
This LO actually coordinates with a page I did for a challenge a while back.
I stitched around the edges! I couldn't find a pair of old jeans to cut out a pocket so I used the Jean paper I had, it was a lot lighter so I had to chalk it to make it darker. I stitched around my paper pocket and I had cut a Levi tag of a pair of jeans years ago to add to the pocket. I had the frame, title and hearts from a pkg. I had bought at a scrap book convention years ago it is from a division of My Mind's Eye. The stickers are something I had in my stash for years, I stuck then to card stock and then cut them out, put them on 3-D Pop Dots. Love to know what you think! ~Kim

I really enjoyed doing this challenge, I went through my one of my many stacks of photos and thought I could do this one of my son Casey! Casey is now 22 yrs. old, Wow time goes by so fast. Enjoy them now next thing you know the are off to college!
To make the scallop on my page I used my Gypsy and welded the circle with a square! I keep this saved on my gypsy, to save me time! I thought I would use both the top and the bottom of the cut! Hey we have to get the most of what we have right! The last thing I did on my LO was sew two x stitches and tie a bow around the title.
Hope you enjoyed my LO!
Love to hear what you think, so leave me a comment!
