I loved all the bright colors!  What a Fun challenge:)   Don't forget to leave me a comment!!

Lake House

Hello Again! This is a page I did for http://scrapbookchallenges.ning.com/ it was for their stitching challenge.  I used my sewing machine, using the zig zag stitch and the regular stitch!  I decided I should leave my sewing machine on my scrap book desk.  I love the look and texture it adds to pages:)  Leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you!

Our Adventure at Waterman's Farm Market

Hello fellow scrappers!  Here is another page I just finished for  Sketch Along Tuesday 11-16 Sketch challenge @  http://frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ .  This is the first sketch challenge I have done, I'm really happy with the results!  The sketch this week was created by Diana one of the designers at frosted designs.  I changed up my page a bit, I didn't use any flowers I made pumpkins out of buttons instead, I used DNC floss for the stems.  I cut out the bracket using my Cricut cartridge George and Basic Shapes. The umbrella was cut out using the A Child's year cartridge. I most always use my Gypsy, that way I know exactly how large I'm making things.  The bear is cut out of a page I had bought from Bear Verdell & Me Inc.  Cuddly cut-outs.  I used this not only because I thought it fit my page perfectly but for my own personal challenge to use something I have had in my scrap room for years. For my journal I wrote it out on my computer using Kristen ITC font. I chalked around the border of my page, journal box, frame & the umbrella. Last but not least I used embossing powder and glitter glue for the rain drops.

Say Cheese

This is another page I did from this summer.  I know my mom and sister will just love the fact that I posted this but it what a fun page to me!  I've had the filmstrip forever, I used Disney's Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge for the title which by the way I used my gypsy to weld the letters together!

Summer

This is a page I did this summer!  I know it's pretty simple but I love it anyways.  I used my Cricut of course. The grass and wagon are from my Paper Dolls cartridge and the summer title was from the cartridge Stretch your Imagination.

Give Thanks in all Things

This is the finished Page :)

This is the page I started and didn't like, I just wasn't loving the pink and blue..

Well I've been working on another challenge, I'm definitely addicted to trying the challenges!  I found a word challenge at http://frosteddesigns.blogspot.com.  The word challenge was Thanks/Thankful.  So I incorporated the word thanks in my title.  The funny thing was when I went back to the site today I found out that I need to pay better attention to deadlines! I missed it totally,  Live and Learn!  I have been so busy watching my little grandson and trying to get in my scrap room whenever he takes a nap & get all the household duties done.  This is quit a challenge because it never fails and the phone rings and wakes him up! I wouldn't change a thing though I'm crazy about my little grandson.  Luckily I was trying to work two challenges into one. The other challenge I was working on.http://scrapbookchallenges.ning.com/ the challenge is for the number challenge.  The requirements for this challenge was 4 things.

1-  4 photos
2- An element of red
3- A piece of ribbon
4- Some stitching  hand or machine

So this is my take on the page.  I really struggled for a  while because I started off with pulling the colors from the pics.  I didn't even finish this page because I couldn't get over my paper choices.  The pink and blues were just to much for me.  So I started over and love the results!  I used 4 photos, my element of red is the tractor, and I hand sewed on some of the buttons and machine stitched the ribbon.

This is what I used on my page.  My green paper is from Pink Armadillo, the tractor and wagon and Title were cut on my Cricut  Heritage, Paper Dolls, Disney Hannah Montana, the scrabble tiles were from Jolee's boutique.

Oh and the my own personal challenge I used something old from my scrap room.  The scrapbook tiles and the gold magic scraps,"I think that is what they are called."

Leave me a comment I would love to hear what you think!

My first page for my personal challenge!

I decided to challenge myself to use some of the things I have had in my scrap room for a long time. I used "this & that tags & things" for the frame and the title. It's a division of My Mind's Eye Inc. I hand stitched around the entire 12 x 12 sheet and cut flowers out using my Cricut & Gypsy Wanderings for the flowers. I stitched some old buttons on my flowers as well. Hope you like it, let me know if your attempting this personal challenge for yourself too!

My own personal challenge

So I was sitting in my scrap room and decided to challenge myself to use things in my scrap room that I've had for years.  Are you like me & love to have scrap supplies all around you? Well I do, I have to scrap stuff from over 5 years ago.  My plan is to try & use at least one thing I've had lying around on my pages.  Do you have this same problem? I constantly am buying new things.  So now I will limit myself  "just a little bit" and use what is in my scrap room.  Are you up for this personal challenge too?  If so leave me a comment & don't forget to post your page.  I would love to see what you have done!  Kim:)
