VROOM... A Sketchy Thursday's 9-8 Sketch Challenge

Hello my scrappy friends! It has been a long time since I have done a scrap book page. I so missed getting in there but was just in a non creative mood. I'm so glad to find the time and the mood to be creative!
I really enjoyed working with this sketch from Sketchy Thursdays 9-8 sketch challenge!

9.8 sketch challenge

I had pulled out some old photos of my kids from 1992, you know the ones where the photos are not all that great and the main focus is tiny. Well I thought I could crop them down to fit the page. I'm really happy with the results!

I wish the photos of my kids were better but you can only work with what you have and that is what I did!

I especially love the old fashion car I used from Cricut's "A Child's Year" cartridge! This is a cartridge I haven't used much but really look forward to using it. The paper I used was from My  Minds Eye -  Complete Boy, and scraps. I used my trusty stapler and sandpaper to give it that older look. For me that was the difference in the page!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hoo's having a BIRTHDAY

Hope everyone is having a restful labor day weekend! My daughter is home from nursing school and we are
enjoying her short break!! I'm so happy to have found time this past week to work on a challenge for Challenge Me Monday #75 @ Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The challenge this week was to use a splash of color on your project, the color we were to use was yellow. I actually did three versions of the same card each has a splash of yellow.

Some close ups of all the owls. My Favorite one is the green and blue
