I have had questions asking what exactly is My Memories Suite software. Well it is a software program that has all the elements you would use on a scrapbook page. You choose the paper, brads stitching ect.. You can choose to have a digital scrapbook that you can share with family and friends, have it printed in a book format, or print your page from your own computer or printing place. I think it can also help you create a page and then get it just the way you want it and then recreate it on paper. The possibilities are endless!!!

Having a Wild Hair Day!!!

Hello my Scrappy Friends! Thanks for stopping by! I am featuring another page using MMS. Today I wanted to crop and mat my photos in a shape. I found that it was very simple using the MMS software! I also wanted to to use the bubble journal spot and  to be honest it took me a while and then I realized DUH!!! To journal I had to use the text box and layer it over the bubble!!

MMS has video tutorials on the blog, facebook and U tube to show us just how easy it is!

So this was a simple layout of my grandson Isaiah! 

It's fun to mix all the different elements MMS has available on the site!

A Giveaway and my page "Middle Beach"

Hello My Scrappy Friends! I sure hope you have been stopping by this week and entered into the giveaway I have going on this week! For my example this week I wanted to enlarge a photo and add the journal-ling on the photo too. I also used some elements that I downloaded from MMS free downloads. I used the Sea Memories pack and added the boat, seagulls and a shell which I placed right on to my photo! Love it!!! The other technique I used was shadowing on my title! 

My page is of my daughter and my nephew at the beach looking for seashells!

Beware Soak Zone!

Hello my Scrappy Friends, welcome back. This is the second day of posting an example of what you can create using My Memory Suite!!  

One of the cool things about this product is you can color match your matting, text ect., using the tab on the color match labeled "picker."  What you do is run your curser over your layout and choose the color you want to match!!! I love this feature!! I know that is my biggest problem when doing a page with paper is choosing just the right color to coordinate with my page.  

I actually did this page for a sketch challenge for Sketches is Thyme.  But I missed the due date when I went to post it:( sadness, I have done that a few other times too. Here is the sketch I used!

You can see it is easy to follow a sketch using the digital scrapbooking software.

A Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I know it has been so long since my last post, I'm so happy to have been able to finish a challenge. I did the page for a challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday challenge to use fall colors. Here's my take on the challenge. 

The challenge was not only to use fall colors but to with an added twist to use a handmade embellishment. So I decided to make quill-ed pumpkins. I know the picture isn't the greatest but hey it was 9 p.m.
