I Actually Made a Card!

I have been telling you all that I wanted to make a card but I have to admit I have a hard time doing it! I feel like I'm so behind on scrapping my family that I hate to take time out even to make a card.
But alas I made a card!
While I was in Orlando this past Friday at the scrap book convention I had bought a Scor-Pal at the show and knew I would need to use it to make cards too! I love it!!!
At the scrap book convention I met so many wonderful people! Crafter's are the best! One lady told me about making flowers out of tulle so I thought why not! I bought a small package and thought I would give it a try! What you do is cut your tulle in circles and attach it with a brad or something then you take your heat gun and sear the edges! Easy Peasy!!!

This is the first flower I used with this method and yes it is not perfect but nonetheless I LOVE it!!

I thought I would make this card for my daughter for her 26 birthday!!! Wow I'm getting old:)

 Here's my card!

This card is a Triangular Tri-fold!
I cut the flowers out using Cricut Cart - Sweet Treats, I crumpled them and then inked the edges and layered /formed the petals and used some 3-D pop dots.
Hope you like it!

Hi Kim!

This came out really cute. Your daughter is going to love it! My son is going to be 23 in a few weeks, the same age I was when he was born. Isn't it something how fast time goes? But they are always our baby! :)
