VROOM... A Sketchy Thursday's 9-8 Sketch Challenge

Hello my scrappy friends! It has been a long time since I have done a scrap book page. I so missed getting in there but was just in a non creative mood. I'm so glad to find the time and the mood to be creative!
I really enjoyed working with this sketch from Sketchy Thursdays 9-8 sketch challenge!

9.8 sketch challenge

I had pulled out some old photos of my kids from 1992, you know the ones where the photos are not all that great and the main focus is tiny. Well I thought I could crop them down to fit the page. I'm really happy with the results!

I wish the photos of my kids were better but you can only work with what you have and that is what I did!

I especially love the old fashion car I used from Cricut's "A Child's Year" cartridge! This is a cartridge I haven't used much but really look forward to using it. The paper I used was from My  Minds Eye -  Complete Boy, and scraps. I used my trusty stapler and sandpaper to give it that older look. For me that was the difference in the page!!

Thanks for stopping by!
~Kim

Hi Kim!

First off, thank you so much for your well wishes! I am finally starting to feel close to 100 percent and I so appreciate the kind words friend!

What a great layout, you did a wonderful job with this one. Did you look at these pictures and get that feeling like it was just yesterday when your kids were so small? I am planning on doing more layouts but I am worried I may spend more time crying than crafting...lol!

Have a wonderful day friend!
