Hello my Scrappy Friends! Here's my page for Sketches In Thyme, Thursday Takes #66. 

I'm enjoying all the sketch challenges they have this month and have been working on my Christmas pages from 2010. This is a page with my daughter and her family. They were Mary, Joseph & baby Jesus! It was fun to watch them be in their first play! Oh course Isaiah was a total natural!

A Sketches in Thyme Sketch # 65

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I finally found a bit of time to share with you 

a page I finished the other day! My page is for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme. The challenge lasts all month and they add sketches throughout the month. 

Here's there sketch-

Here's my page, it's of my grandson Isaiah and this was one of my favorite photos I took.

I wanted to add a little whimsy so I just had to add the chip board polar bears and I thought it would be cute tangling them up in the Christmas lights that need to adore the Christmas trees! My Christmas trees are matted on cardboard so I could pop them off the page at three different heights!  I had a lot of fun working on this page I hope you like it too:)

Doesn't he just have the sweetest little smile:)

The sketch!

I made my own bees, I cut out the yellow paper and took my calligraphy pen to make the stripes and took thin wire and made the wings! I then took a shiny embossing powder and embossed the little bees!

I did machine and foe stitching on my LO!

I cut these flowers out of a pillow case a friend was tossing in the trash! Love it when you can up-cycle!!

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I hope your having a great weekend! I wanted to share a 2 page spread I did using the Exclusive Freebie on the My Memories Blog! Let me tell you using the quick pages are so easy! For me I add my title and maybe a little journaling on my page! On this page I also added the little love charm! I think the charm was from the pack Sweet Baby Girl!

I just quickly added the title using the word art program! It's so cool how you can give your letters dimension, shading and outline! Love it:)  I also added some text on the tag provided. 

If you haven't tried digital scrap booking you should give it a try! It's so fast and looks great too! Your digital pages can be printed with your home printer or you can send it to be printed or have it printed in a book! Not to mention you can also make a CD with your project and add music or commentary to make multiple copies for your family and friends!

A Sketchy Thursdays / Frosted Designs Challenge!

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I'm so happy to be posting about a challenge I completed!!!! As you know it has been hard for me to find time to do a challenge but I am so happy to say I was even able to combine three challenges into one!!! Whoop Whoop for me!!!!

Challenge 1- Sketch challenge 1.5 from Sketchy Thursdays.

Challenge 2- Was to use only the colors blue and silver and it was a prompt challenge from Scrappy Chics.

Challenge 3- Frosted Designs challenge was to use only card stock "no pattern paper".

You have no idea how hard it was to use only blue and silver! Then to add no pattern paper was so hard for me! I get my stamps out and stamp the pattern for me!

A Few closeups-

I really loved this challenge and had started it in the morning and couldn't wait to get home from church so I could finish my page! The picture is of my mother! I'm so Blessed to have the Best Mom! She is so beautiful inside and out!

Four Generations

Hello my Scrappy Friends! So I'm still posting the pages I completed in 2011. So sad that I have not even been able to do that.  Here's a page I completed with my mom my daughter and my grandson! This is the first photo we had taken of the four of us. I don't know why we hadn't when Isaiah was a baby but at least we finally got it done!

The embellishments used were Princess Di and Memory Lane Relative tag/ Relative theory

Swinging at the Park

   Hello my Scrappy Friends and Happy New Year!!! I hope every one has had a Wonderful holiday filled with lots of Love! 

I wanted to post some of the pages I had finished before the end of the new year so I could add them to my total for the year!   So as I get time I will be posting:)              

I used the My Memories Suite digital program to create my pages! I used the pack "Kid fun a day at the park". As you can see I did two, 2 page spreads. I couldn't figure out how to have them side by side, so picture them in your mind right beside each other!

More pages, I don't know which pack I used for these and if you know let me know so I can give credit. When I have time I will do more research and post.

 The pages come together so quickly when you do them digitally! Love that about the program and you can print them yourself or send them to your favorite place to have them printed! Or you can add them to a digital book print!!
