Monday Madness @ Crafting Family

Hello Scrappy Friends! It's Monday Madness here with my DT post for the Crafting Family. I will be featuring paper from Studio Calico- Classic Calico Collection. I think this paper is very masculine and thought it would make the perfect background paper for a birthday card for my son-in-law.

Little Angel boy...

Hello my Scrappy Friends! I decided to join in on the sketch challenge @ Sketch~N~Scrap. I really love the sketches they have and loved working on a page with my daughter and grandson from 2010. It's good to be working on the older photo's and not just the newest ones.

DT Call for Sketches In Thyme!


Would you like to be a Sketchy Maven? The 6 month term for our talented Mavens is drawing to a close, and while some will be staying on, we are looking for new members to join our Sketches in Thyme design team! If you enjoy creating layouts from sketches, participating in blogs and motivating others to take part in challenges, this might be your chance to be a part of our Design Team! Your term would run November 2012-April 2013, and you would be asked to complete 2 layouts per month. If you would like a chance to be considered, here's what you need to do:

1-Have an active blog and be on facebook (so you can be part of our SiT DT group)
2-Create a new layout based on our sketch below.
3-Post about our DT call on your blog, along with your take on our sketch.

Live, Laugh, Love a DT Project For Crafting Family

Hello my Scrappy Friends! Today is Monday and that means it's my day to share a project for the Crafting Family. Today I have created something different from regular crafting! I have a chip board project to share with you today! I covered some chip board words with some scrap paper and cover'd them with Modge Podge. Then I made some Beautiful flowers to adorn the words.

Play...A Sketches in Thyme DT Reveal

September is "Blast From the Past" month here at Sketches in Thyme, and we're revisiting a few favorite sketches from the past. For our 3rd sketch of the month, we have a 4-photo sketch originally posted in November 2011:

I added a little glitter glue to the ribbon on the fish and the bubbles!

I also added the glitter glue to all the polka dots on the brackets! It looks so much better in person.
